I don't know. I've put at least 14 hours into playing and I'd have to say that this IS the next big thing (excluding the ensuing BF3). For a beta, the game is great. The reason why you are all having issues killing anything is because you haven't gotten the feel of the weapons; they feel WAY different from their counterparts in BF2. I've been able to snipe and rock out with my e-cock out as medic, but it took a while and alot of deaths. I think it's gonna be great -- Every game is different from the last. I'm never bored with the map because it is so dynamic; making the environment itself a charecter. Really looking forward to BC2 and I think, regardless of what Chuck or Hero thinks, we should get a competition team going.
im with Utemetsu, what if l4d community was like ohh this game is a pub game(which it is) and never tried to make it better. We would have no mod, no leagues, no teams, what makes the game better is input from players and of course the dev listening trying to implement the ideas. This game is just beta basically a watered down version of whats to come, I see good things for this game.
I will only buy the game if most of the original Members get it (BF2 Oldschool guys from the day). Just to play with the clan. Yet it is still EA which i am going to wait a while after some patching and pb updates overhaul
First time playing Battlefield games, so far I actually like it more than MW2. I understand they are different games, but for some reason I really enjoy co-op type of experiences where team skill is more important than individual skill.
It has some similarities to L4D in terms of shooting with heavy artillery. You have to predict where the enemy is going to nail it, like predicting hunter pounces and skeeting.
